In the summer of 1998, Stutters joined a continent-wide association of restoration specialists called Disaster Kleenup International or Disaster Kleenup Canada (DKC) in Canada. DKI is a network of the leading, independent property damage restoration companies in North America.

DKC is Canada’s preeminent emergency response organization for property damage, handling more than 60,000 claims each year for the insurance industry alone. DKC's unique structure allows member companies, such as Stutters Disaster Kleenup, to pool resources, expertise and technology, to restore property of all kinds from small claims to major losses, and regional disasters.

Each individual member company - and there are over 200 of them across North America - is the uncontested leader within its own territory, with its own clear track record of success, and a reputation for professionalism and high performance. Member companies must meet the highest professional requirements in the industry, and adhere to a set of Professional Standards and a Code of Ethics. Stutters upholds the DKC affiliation with pride and honor.

Disaster Kleenup Canada is the only organization of its kind in North America, and is dedicated to cooperation and interaction between and among its members.
