Summary
Assist with the clean-up and construction of homes and businesses following an emergency. Main duties include removal of drywall, flooring, extraction of water, movement and storage of furniture and contents.

Core Competencies
• Comprehensive knowledge of hand and power tools, equipment and materials.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Work in protective clothing and respirator.
• Familiar with workplace safety and safe lifting procedures.

Job Duties
• Follow instructions provided from the site supervisor.
• Deliver, load, and unload materials. Move materials at worksites.
• Prepare worksite by laying floor protection and sealing off work areas.
• Remove flooring, drywall and other building materials.
• Remove debris from worksite, clean worksite post construction.
• Move, pack, inventory homeowner’s furniture and contents.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Ensure work is completed to a high-quality standard.

Requirements
• Previous restorations experience an asset but not necessary.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Bondable, criminal background check.
• Able to work on an on-call schedule.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Working Conditions
• Ability to drive and visit projects covering a vast geographical area.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Varied working conditions ranging from cramped areas to considerable heights.
• Work outside at various times of the year and experience a considerable range of environmental conditions.
• Good physical condition to carry materials and have the stamina to be on your feet for long periods of time.
